Two people were injured, leaving one in critical condition, after a two-vehicle collision in Hulhumalé late on Sunday night.
A 19-year-old man and a 56-year-old man were injured in the accident, the Maldives Police Service said. The elderly man is in critical condition.
The two injured were treated at the Hulhumalé Hospital and have now been shifted to the ADK Hospital.
The accident occurred near the site of JMC, an Indian company constructing housing flats in the second phase of Hulhumalé, at around 1:20 a.m. last night, according to the police.
