The Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen is scheduled to make an official visit to the Maldives from January 15 - 17, on an official invitation from President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih.
According to the President's Office, during this visit, Maldives and Cambodia will hold official talks lead by the two leaders and a number of agreements on strengthening bilateral cooperations will be signed.
In addition, the two country's Chambers of Commerce will attend a business forum hosted by the Ministry of Economic Development on the sidelines of the visit, to intensify business-to-business interactions and to enhance trade and commerce between the two countries.
Maldives Airports Company Ltd (MACL) has decided to close some areas of Velana International Airport (VIA) at certain times tomorrow due to Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen's official visit to the Maldives.

MACL said some areas of the airport will be closed at certain times on Sunday, January 15 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and Tuesday, January 17 from 7:30 am to 8:30 a.m.
Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) buses and MACL staff buses will stop at the Western parking area and the MACL ferry will stop at the Western Parking Area's adjacent harbor, while all sea vessels will only be allowed to enter and exit the lagoon from the southernmost during these hours.
The north end of the international terminal to the north end of the domestic terminal will also be closed during these hours, according to MACL.
