Dhiraagu and Clean Maldives proceeds a tree plantation program in Hulhumale' Phase 2

Dhiraagu, in partnership with Clean Maldives has hosted a tree plantation program, 'Go Green 2024' in Hulhumale which saw 1000 trees planted in Phase 2. Dhiraagu had donated 225 trees for the program.

Local telecom provider Dhiraagu has hosted a special tree plantation program, 'Go Green 2024' in Hulhumale' in partnership with local environment agency, Clean Maldives.

This activity was inaugurated by Minister of Climate Change, Environment and Energy of Maldives, Thoriq Ibrahim. The program was organized to display support for the 5 million trees tree plantation program initiated by the government, accordingly with President Dr Mohamed Muizzu's presidential pledge to make the Maldives a greener environment during his tenure.

Under the 'Go Green 2024' program, a variety of 1000 trees were planted in Phase 2 of Hulhumale', including sea lettuce, ironwoods trees, sea hibiscus, portia trees and palm trees. Dhiraagu had gifted a total of 225 trees for this initiative.

In addition to Dhiraagu and Clean Maldives, Housing Development Corporation (HDC), Hard Rock Hotel Maldives, officials of EyeCare Maldives and volunteers had taken part in the tree plantation program.

Preserving the environment is one of the key fundamentals of Dhiraagu's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.
