Ooredoo Maldives became the first company in the Maldives to create a Public Chat in the famous mobile application, Viber.
In a press release on Friday, Ooredoo stated that their Public Chat will share important news and interesting information from across the Maldives with their participants.
The company’s CEO Vikram Sinha said that Ooredoo has opened several doors to connect with citizens and provide the fastest services via social media in today’s digital world. Noting that the majority of Maldivians currently use Viber, he added that Ooredoo’s Public Chat is a platform for closer interaction with society.
Ooredoo’s Viber Public Chat can be accessed via viber.com/ooredoomaldives.
Viber Public Chat is used by several celebrities, famous brands and other high profile names as a platform to connect with their followers. Public chats are accessible for all Viber users.
