FoodHub, the online platform that revolutionised Maldivians’ perspective of mobile commerce, has expanded to Addu atoll in the south of Maldives.

Launched by Everything Red Pvt Ltd, FoodHub is a platform that connects the public with local restaurants and cafes. Currently, over a hundred thousand Maldivians use FoodHub to browse menus and order take-out from local eateries.

FoodHub commenced service in Addu last Thursday, stating that residents of the southernmost atoll of the archipelago can now order food delivery via the platform.

Everything Red also declared that opportunities are open for restaurants and other privately owned companies in Addu that are interested in partnering with FoodHub.

“FoodHub’s services have been introduced in [Gnaviyani atoll] Fuvahmulah in addition to [capital] Male. Now we’ve launched it in Addu. It is our wish to provide ease and progress to everyday lives of Addu residents via technology,” said Everything Red’s CEO Mohamed Rifau.

FoodHub is also a platform for restaurants and cafes to advertise their cuisine and services to customers. The company aims to expand its services to the majority of the Maldives before the end of the year.
