State Trading Organisation (STO) has once more raised the prices of petrol and diesel by 31 laari, effective this Tuesday.
The company stated that starting from the 8th of May, a single litre of petrol will be sold for MVR 10.42 and a diesel litre will be sold for MVR 10.72 only.
According to the statement released by the company on Sunday, the price increase is in reaction to the changes in fuel rates on the global market.
This is the third time STO is adjusting the prices in this year.
