Maldives Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC)’s net profit for the second quarter of this year had an increase of USD 2.2 million (MVR 33.9 million).
According to MTDC’s official statistics, the corporation’s revenue for the second quarter was USD 3.4 million, while the revenue for the first quarter had been USD 1.32 million.
The statistics indicate that operating costs of the company had decreased during the second quarter with an expense of USD 214,404 whereas the operating costs for the first quarter were USD 249,813.
The profit per share of MTDC in the second quarter was USD 0.07 (MVR 1.07).
