Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC)’s records state that the company had earned MVR 67 million as net profit in the last quarter.
The company’s records show that in the last quarter, earnings had risen by 65 percent compared to the same period last year, while expenditures on trade and marketing had also increased significantly in the final quarter.
MTCC earned a profit of MVR 385 million, but after deducting expenditure the net profit remained at MVR 133.4 million. The company had paid MVR 7.4 million as Business Profit Tax (BPT).
