Dhiraagu has opened their third Data Centre today, in Noonu atoll Velidhoo.
The Data Centre was inaugurated by Dhiraagu CEO and Managing Director Ismail Rasheed and Velidhoo Council President Athif Hussain.
Dhiraagu describes this as an important milestone in their efforts to strengthen Maldives' digital infrastructure and expand technological services across the country.
This Tier-3 ready data centre is established as part of Dhiraagu's efforts to provide international-level trusted services. With the help of this Data Centre, service providers to resorts and companies in the region can now store date at a location close to them. In addition to this, it provides ease in using cloud-based services and various applications, and contributes towards sustainable advancement of businesses, Dhiraagu said.
Earlier this year, Dhiraagu opened Maldives' first Tier-4 certified Data Centre: Hulhumale' Data Centre. This is the highest tier set by Uptime Institute in Data Centre Reliability.
Dhiraagu remains committed to paving the way for sustainable development across the islands through the use of the latest technology.
