BML introduces internship program with MVR 9,000 allowance

Bank of Maldives (BML) has opened up the application process for this year's internship program.

The 12 month program is aimed at students at higher education centers and graduates. The application process for the internship will end on 30th September.

This year, BML is offering internships from two areas, which are:

BML has stated that those who are approved for the internship will receive the necessary skills and experience in various business units, departments and branches by working in them. This year, graduate interns will receive a monthly allowance of MVR 9,000 which is an increase from the past. Tech Start interns will receive a monthly allowance of MVR 11,000.

BML has given 77 interns the opportunity to gain experience, something the company has been doing since 2018. BML has stated that some of the interns have received permanent job positions as well.
