Bank of Maldives (BML) has launched self-service ATM centres in GA. Kondey and Kanduhulhudhoo today.
With this, the bank has now placed ATMs in all inhabited islands of GA Atoll, making it the tenth atoll to have BML ATM services in all islands.
Minister of Construction, Housing and Infrastructure Dr Abdulla Muththalib attended the ceremony held to inaugurate the service today. He was joined by BML Chairperson Ahmed Ali Habeeb, BML CEO and Managing Director Mohamed Shareef, and other senior officials of the bank.
BML said that the ATM centres offer round the clock access to essential banking services including cash withdrawal, transfers and deposits.

The launch falls under the bank's 'Mulhi Raajje ah BML ATM' initiative, where the bank aims to expand its services to all inhabited islands.
"Our investment in these new ATM centers reflects our unwavering commitment to bringing banking closer to our customers. The people of Gaafu Alifu Atoll will no longer have to travel to another island for their banking," BML CEO and Managing Director Shareef said.
BML has 42 branches, 158 self-service banking centres, 217 ATMs, and agent banking services across 20 atolls and offers advanced digital banking services.
