Maldivian adds lounge access for domestic flights

Maldivian Airlines has introduced a lounge access add-on for passengers traveling on domestic flights.

Island Aviation, which operates the airline, announced that this new option is aimed at providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere for passengers before their flights.

Maldivian Airlines lounges offer complimentary Wi-Fi and a variety of food and beverages. Private shower rooms are also available in selected lounges.

Domestic passengers will be able to access the Moonimaa Lounge located at the Domestic Terminal of Velana International Airport, the Kashimaa Lounge at Dharavandhoo Domestic Airport, and the Kaani Lounge at Ifuru Domestic Airport.

Island Aviation stated that passengers requiring lounge access can book the lounge up to four hours ahead of departure. The lounge can be booked through Maldivian's call center, ticketing offices, Viber, and sales agents.
