Maldives’ main tourism promotion body has designated Public Relations agencies in six nations to promote the archipelago’s image and boost tourist arrivals.
In a statement, Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) disclosed that PR agencies have been selected in China, Germany, UK, France, India and South Korea. The agencies will promote the Maldives’ tourism for one year beginning July 1.
The designated PR agencies are:
China – Travel Link Marketing
Germany – Kaus Media Services
UK – MEC UK
France – Interface Tourism
India – Think Strawberries Luxury Travel Marketing
South Korea – S Marketing and Communication
MMPRC explained that the PR agencies were designated in a move to improve the Maldives’ image in the established countries and entice more tourists to visit the archipelago.
Statistics show that highest number of tourists hail from China, while Germany, UK and France are the top European markets for the Maldives’ tourism sector.
