Ooredoo Maldives on Sunday signed an agreement with Maldives Inland Revenue Authority (MIRA) which allows customers to make payments via Ooredoo's digital payments solution, 'm-Faisaa'.

According to the telecom giant, Ooredoo customers can now process cashless payments through the m-Faisaa option on MIRA's 'VaaruPay', to make instant settlements as well as get real-time status updates.

“Ooredoo remains committed to enriching the digital lives of our customers, by enabling smart solutions that simplifies their everyday needs and wants. m-Faisaa is a one-stop digital payments solution which caters for the most number of utility payments in the Maldives, on a single platform", said Najib Khan, the CEO and Managing Director of Ooredoo Maldives.

"We’re excited to add MIRA to our partnership network, and believe that this collaboration will bring added ease and convenience to pay vehicle, vessel, or company fees, violation charges, and zakat-al-mal”.

MIRA's VaaruPay is available for download on App Store and Play Store, as well as on MIRA's website.

Customers can sign up for m-Faisaa on the Ooredoo App, available for download at http://ore.do/app

The m-Faisaa solution allows customers to make cash deposits, withdrawals, transfers and merchant payments digitally at all times.

Ooredoo highlighted that m-Faisaa also facilitates bill payments for several services including State Electric Company (STELCO), Male' Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC), Ooredoo services, MediaNet and more.

Moreover, Ooredoo m-Faisaa customers can cash in to their digital wallets online via Bank of Maldives (BML), State Bank of India (SBI) and Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB).
