Ooredoo Maldives launches SuperNet Fixed Broadband in Vilimale'

Telecommunications giant Ooredoo Maldives on Wednesday launched its SuperNet Fixed Broadband in the suburb of Villimale’, Kaafu Atoll.

The company noted that the service offers customers a wide range of fixed broadband packages with speeds up to 100 mbps.

“In line with our vision to connect the people of the Maldives to more opportunities through digital has always been one of the top priorities. Internet has become an essential for everyday life and for business to stay safe, to provide and receive faster services and to cater to wider customer bases", said Hussain Niyaz, the Acting Chief Commercial Officer at Ooredoo Maldives.

"Today, we have launched our Fixed broadband, SuperNet services to the people of Villimale’, connecting its people to new opportunities and allowing its people to truly enjoy the internet. We will remain committed in our journey to connect our customers from all corners of Maldives and will continue to expand our services".

Ooredoo recently revamped its SuperNet plans, providing up to five times the Internet speeds, and up to 68 percent larger allowances, including SuperNet add-ons with faster speeds.

The SuperNet services are also optimised for popular applications such as Facebook, Youtube, Netflix, and Gaming among others.
