Telecom giant Ooredoo Maldives, on Tuesday, launched its SuperNet Fixed Broadband services in the island of Dharavandhoo, Baa Atoll.
According to Ooredoo, the newly introduced services offer a wide range of fixed broadband packages with speeds up to 100 mbps.
“During a time where all services, education and everyday activities has transformed to digital means, it is extremely important to have access to quality internet services", stated Acting Chief Commercial Officer at Ooredoo Maldives, Hussain Niyaz.
"Today, we are excited to launch our SuperNet Fixed Broadband Service in Dharavandhoo, connecting its people to new opportunities and allowing its people to truly enjoy the internet. We are committed in our journey to connect our customers from all corners of Maldives and will continue to expand our services".
Ooredoo recently revamped its SuperNet plans, providing up to five times the Internet speeds, and up to 68 percent larger allowances, including SuperNet add-ons with faster speeds.
The SuperNet services are also optimised for popular applications such as Facebook, Youtube, Netflix, and Gaming among others.
