MTCC to distribute products of China’s top construction firm

Maldives Transport and Constructing Company (MTCC) signed a distributorship agreement with the leading construction machinery firm of China, XCMG, on Thursday.

MTCC’s CEO Ibrahim Ziyath signed the contract at a ceremony held at MTCC tower while XCMG was represented by its Asia Pacific Department’s Regional Manager Chris Wang.

MTCC’s General Manager Ismail Adhuham stated that XCMG machinery, spare parts and services will be made available from MTCC Kashavaru showroom in capital Male.

“Distributing the products of such a reliable and internationally renowned company will further expand the construction industry of the developing Maldives,” he declared.

XCMG is the fifth largest heavy machinery and construction group in the world. Its products are marketed in several countries worldwide while XCMG machinery are also being used for the ongoing project to develop an overwater bridge connecting capital Male and airport island Hulhule.
