Telecom giant Ooredoo Maldives signed with Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) to provide Ooredoo Workgroup services that allows free calls and texts among employees of a company.

Ooredoo’s Head of Sales Hussain Niyaz and MTCC’s CEO Ibrahim Ziyath signed the agreement Monday at a ceremony held at MTCC.

CEO Ziyath voiced his anticipation for greater ease of communication within the company with Workgroup services while Ooredoo’s CEO Vikram Sinha declared it a joy to see MTCC joining the ranks of institutions that already benefit from Ooredoo’s Workgroup services.

Ooredoo Workgroup portals allow companies to check their bills, request new connections, and add or remove employees from the Workgroup list. Companies can also set up separate groups within the institution with greater ease of sending texts and phone calls.

Ooredoo currently provides Workgroup services to Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF), Maldives Police Service, State Trading Organisation (STO), Maldives Customs Service, Prosecutor General’s Office, Ministry of Finance and Treasury, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ministry of Environment and Energy, Ministry of Law and Gender and a number of renowned companies and resorts.
