Popular franchise Mövenpick, on Friday, officially opened an ice-cream boutique at The Marina at Crossroads Maldives.
Managing Director of Mövenpick Maldives Hassan Shiyam and chief guest, former Vice President Dr Mohamed Jameel Ahmed presided over the ribbon cutting ceremony.
Two special flavours, Chocolate and Salted Caramel as well as Cookies and Caramel were debuted at the boutique. Additionally, a promotion was also introduced, granting a 30 percent discount to customers that made purchases on the opening day.
To welcome Mövenpick, to Crossroads Maldives' General Manager Sucha Phochan, gifted a flower bouquet to the Brand Ambassador of Mövenpick, M.V.M Rao.
The opening ceremony concluded with a live performance by local musician Ammadey.
"We’ve had a presence in the Maldives for over 18 years, and we’re keen on providing the finest products for years to come", stated M.V.M Rao.
"We’re very grateful to be appreciated by the Maldives, (and) think ice-cream fits right into the Maldivian atmosphere".
