Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC), along with 13 companies of the tourism sector, are promoting the Maldives at this year's International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM).
A collection of global, regional and specialist luxury travel events organised by Reed Exhibitions, ILTM's flagship event is currently ongoing at Cannes, France, from December 2 to 5.
With stands showcasing the tropical beauty of the Maldives, MMPRC and other participants share information on the island nation with visitors, to market Maldives as a top vacation destination.
ILTM is one of the premier travel fairs for luxury tourism, where participants can network with international tour operators and share information on ways to advance the tourism industry. While ILTM expects 5,000 visitors this year, last year's fair featured 80 countries with over 72,000 meetings.
