Universal Travels Services (UTS) on Monday announced an exciting new scheme, ‘Fly Now Pay Later’.

The unique scheme allows passengers to issue tickets across a range of airlines and “fly now and pay later” via an installment plan under Bank of Maldives (BML)’s Easy Pay.

UTS’ General Manager Ridha Alayad explained that one of the primary goals of the scheme is to provide travel opportunities for Maldivian families that wished to travel abroad for vacation or medical purposes, but could not afford the expenses in advance.

“… this scheme enables them to pay on a monthly installment basis and travel hassle-free”, he stated.

UTS further noted its efforts to offer airline tickets at affordable prices, highlighting its partnership with the national bank in order to ease the financial burden for customers.

BML Easy Pay is a payment plan curated for American Express credit card holders, under which clients can purchase goods valued up to their card limit and enjoy easy repayments, while using their credit cards for other purchases. The scheme offers installment plans of 3, 6, 12, 18, and 24 months.

A subsidiary of Universal Enterprises Pvt Ltd, UTS is a one-stop shop travel firm that provides professional travel consultancy for several major airlines around the world.
