Male' Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC) is seeking contractors to develop a cruise terminal at Fishermen's Park in capital Male' City.
In a notice released Tuesday, MWSC stated that only the parties that make their payments will be allowed to participate in the bidding process.
The bid book for the project will be sold at a rate of MVR 500, and payments accepted from August 20-26 at MWSC's Customer Service Centre. The bid book will be available from the fifth floor of Fen Building from August 28.
The pre-bid meeting is scheduled to be held September 1, while bidders must pay an amount of MVR 10,000 as bid security. Only bank guarantee cheques and bank guarantee letters will be accepted as bid security, stated MWSC in its notice
According to the company's Managing Director Adam Azim, the cruise terminal will feature a resting area and public toilets. MWSC launched the project under its corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme.
