Bank of Maldives (BML), on Monday, extended their sponsorship agreement with Football Association of Maldives (FAM) by a period of two years.
Under the agreement, BML will officially sponsor the male senior team, female senior team, as well as both junior teams. The teams' training and travel kits will be branded by the bank.
Minister of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment Ahmed Mahloof,was the guest of honour at the ceremony held at BML Head Office.
BML’s Deputy CEO and Director of Operations Mohamed Shareef and FAM President Bassam Adeel Jaleel signed on behalf of their respective organizations.
“We are enthused to maintain this special relationship with FAM...it is a great joy to see Maldivian teams participating in international competitions. We wish to assist FAM in reaching their goals in any way we can and one of our major targets is empowering male and female athletes in the industry”, stated Shareef.
