Ministry of Economic Development, in collaboration with Ministry of Commerce of Thailand, held the fourth Thailand Business Matching Forum on Wednesday.
Economic Minister Fayyaz Ismail inaugurated the forum in which several Thai Trade Centre officials took part.
The forum was held from morning until 1600 hrs.
A total of 27 Thai companies took part in the gathering, including those dealing with food and beverage, spa products, hotel equipment, and home appliances.
According to the ministry, the forum was introduced to help improve relations between Maldivian and Thai corporations, with Maldivian entrepreneurs receiving the opportunity to interact and discuss trade with the Thai businessmen.
