Telecommunications giant Ooredoo Maldives, on Sunday, announced the appointment of Chief Executive Officer Najib Khan as the Managing Director of the company.
The appointment was made following the retirement and resignation of Chairman and Managing Director Khalid Ibrahim Al Mahmoud.
Chairman Al Mahmoud served since July 2012 and contributed immensely to the company's growth. During his chairmanship, Ooredoo Maldives achieved several milestones in utilizing digital transformation to enrich the lives of Maldivians.
Ooredoo Maldives warmly welcomed Najib Khan as the new Managing Director and expressed confidence that the company would continue to reach greater heights in digitalisation and contribute to the development of the community under his leadership.
