Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) has confirmed on announcing for multiple job slots prior to the opening of the new seaplane terminal at the Velana International Airport (VIA) venue.
An official speaking on behalf of MACL confirmed that a total of 122 new job opportunities will be announced for the operation of the new seaplane terminal.
Among the various job categories; career opportunities from housekeeping, terminal operations, business lounge operations, and asset security will be announced sometime in the coming weeks.
Moreover, MACL confirms its policy of hiring locals exclusively for the designations.
Furthermore, the airport management company had revealed that out of the 122, MACL is already seeking individuals for 47 positions.
The new seaplane terminal will commence official operations in coming April while the airport operator is currently attempting to shift operations of local seaplane operators to the new venue.
MACL developed the new seaplane terminal by expending a total of MVR58.83 million.
