Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulla Shahid on Tuesday sent Independence Day greetings to Jamaica and Bolivia.
In his message to Diego Pary Rodríguez, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the of Bolivia Minister sent felicitations on the occation of the 194th Independence Day of Bolivia.occasion
"On behalf of the Government and the people of the Republic of Maldives, it gives me great pleasure to extend warm greetings and good wishes to Your Excellency and the people of Bolivia on the auspicious occasion of the Independence Day of Bolivia."
Additionally, he wished good health, well being and further progress for the people of Bolivia.
Minister Shahid sent a message to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Jamaica Kamina Johnson Smith on the jubilant occasion of Jamaican Independence Day.
"It gives me great pleasure to convey warm greetings and sincere good wishes of the Government and the people of Maldives, and on my own behalf, to Your Excellency, the Government and the people of Jamaica, on the jubilant occasion of the Independence Day of Jamaica."
He expressed hope that the existing friendly relationship between Maldives and Jamaica remain, and be further strengthened.
