Bank of Maldives (BML) has introduced a new debit MasterCard variation for business accounts opened under BML Islamic.
Moreover, the bank confirms that the new debit card will facilitate easier banking and payment solutions for businesses.
Businesses will be able to record its financial transactions easily using the new cards.
Meanwhile, the bank's CEO and Managing Director Mr. Tim Sawyer noted that the introduction of the new debit card will enhance the conduct of new and startup businesses as well.
Mr. Sawyer further noted that the cards will greatly facilitate cashless transactions for businesses and promote digital or online transactions.
The new debit card will include all of the similar features as its previous variations, and will be applicable for transactions both locally and internationally.
