Bank of Maldives (BML) has completed its coding and engineering program for girls in collaboration with ForLoop Coding Academy.
BML initiated the program as part of the International Women’s Day celebrations with the aim of promoting gender equality in the fields of innovation and technology and create more opportunities for girls in these fields.
Twenty-four children between the ages of 12 and 14 participated in the BML Coding and Engineering program. The program offered them valuable learning experiences in various areas such as game development using visual blocks, app development using Python, and the building a Bluetooth-controlled robot.
ForLoop Coding Academy has been providing coding and electronic engineering education in the Maldives since 2016. The academy offers a range of coding programs specifically designed for children.
