Salon Maldives spearheads enhancing Maldives beauty industry

Addressing a major obstacle in the beauty industry within the country, the challenge of accessing and obtaining products is a significant concern. The sector faces various challenges as professionals struggle with the complexities of training for the brands they aim to use. In response, Salon Maldives has taken the lead in launching an initiative to overcome this crisis and boost the industry's progress.

During a ceremony held at Hotel Jen, Salon Maldives introduced five beauty and wellness brands into the market, aimed at bringing their offerings to salons and spas across the country. The organisation further announced offering the necessary training for the effective use of these products.

Nada, a seasoned industry leader with twenty years of experience, said, "After navigating this journey for two decades, I understand the challenges. I want to make it easier for future entrants by removing the struggles I faced in finding products and getting the necessary training. That's why I decided to break down these barriers."

interconnected with tourism, the beauty and wellness sector has great potential to provide significant opportunities to the people of Maldives. Nada stated, "I see everyone in this industry as a partner. We should all work together for progress. Today, I am embarking on this broad mission, with the goal of creating an institute that offers thorough training for the industry."

The event saw attendees including spa managers and heads of spas from various resorts in the Maldives, as well as notable figures from salons and spas in Malé City.

The attendance of numerous influencers and the general public highlighted the event's wide-reaching influence. Nada remarked on the turnout, saying, "The response has been incredibly positive, making this event a great success."

Salon Maldives introduced a collection of well-known international brands, including Biologique Recherche from France, Nora Board from Germany, Davenus from Italy, Olaplex from the US, and Lichen from Australia. The event provided an engaging platform to showcase the products and share information about these brands.
