In the women's final held on Monday night, Queens faced off against Elite, securing a decisive win with a commanding 97-52 lead. This marked Queens BC's first title since 2020.
Queens team Fathimath Rishma contributed 29 points to their winning tally. For Elite, Fathimath Ehau Shaheem and Aishath Inasha were the top scorers, each notching up 13 points in the match.
T-Rex BC won by overcoming the three-time champions, Kings, in a closely contested final with an 86-83 scoreline.
The game remained deadlocked at 67-67 at halftime, leading to two overtime periods. As the first period concluded, both teams were tied at 75-75 points. T-Rex secured the victory with a three-point difference in the final period.
In the match, Mohamed Huwailidh Ali led T-Rex with 23 points, supported by Zakariyya Abdul Latheef's 20 points. Ibrahim Naseem was the top scorer for Kings, contributing 19 points to their effort.
