Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) has partnered up with local destination management firm; Resort Life Travel (RLT) for a new destination promotion campaign focusing multiple markets. The parties involved will jointly promote Maldives as a popular tourism destination in various markets including Russia and Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), Central and Eastern Europe.
The signing took place on June 27, with MMPRC's Managing Director and Chief Executive Thoyyib Mohamed signing on behalf of the premier tourism promoter and the Chief Executive and Managing Director Mohamed Shaaz of Resort Travel Life signing on behalf of the company.
With over 15 years of industry experience, Resort Travel Life founded in 2006 is one of the leading in-bound tour operators from the Maldives with a rich hotelier partner portfolio.
Under this agreement, RLT ensures to utilize the branding, name and logo of MMPRC's "Visit Maldives" in all of the events, promotions both online and offline in which the destination management firm takes part in the Russia, CIS and Central and Eastern European markets.
The agreement also aims to create synergy with local travel and tour operators to enhance destination promotion and maintain global brand visibility.
Speaking about the new partnership, Thoyyib states, "We are embarking on a journey to begin working even more closely with local tour operators, who have been doing remarkably well during the pandemic, even the aftermath of the crisis. We can use the strengths of partners like Resort Life, to further our common goal of marketing the destination."
