A Bangladeshi court has ordered reinvestigation into the death of 20 year old model, Raudha Athif, who was studying to become a doctor at Islamic Bank Medical College in Rajshahi. She was found hanged to death in her dorm room on March 29, 2017. The incident will be reinvestigated for the sixth time since her death five years ago.

Previous reports and the autopsy prove Raudha's death as suicide. However, her father Mohamed Athif stated that there are loopholes in the final conclusion and requested for another investigation to be launched into his daughter's untimely death.

Athif's lawyer, MD. Nurul Islam Sarkar stated that the court has ordered for a superintendent ranking officer to investigate the case once again.

Although Raudha's father alleges there was foul play involved in her death, all relevant authorities from Bangladesh as well as the Maldives death commission had ruled that the Bangladesh police were right in their conclusion of her death being a suicide.

The Bangladeshi police had reported that Raudha had committed suicide due to a dispute with her boyfriend who was pursuing his studies in United Kingdom at the time. They had stated that while the autopsy report proves that she committed suicide, the findings on Raudha's phone and laptop further supporting their deduction.
