Bandos Maldives in collaboration with non-profit organization Project Hope, on Tuesday, concluded the resort's annual mini-marathon fundraiser, dubbed 'Viva La Vida', in celebration of its 47th anniversary.
The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative aims to fundraise for the Project Hope in protecting and promoting the well-being of children. All funds generated from the event will be donated to NGO.
This marks the fifth consecutive year that Bandos Maldives has hosted the event.
As part of its anniversary celebrations, Bandos Maldives concluded a yoga special 'Good Morning Flow', a cake cutting ceremony and 'Be a Bandos Star' singing event.
The event was open for the in-house guests residing at Bandos Maldives as well as Bandos Associates. All participants were required to buy a t-shirt and register their names for the event beforehand.
In 2017, the run commemorated the resort's 45th anniversary and was held in collaboration with the non-government organization ARC (Advocating the Rights of Children).
