During the visit, the Minister Khaleel will engage in high-level discussions with Minister Albusaidi to review bilateral relations and explore opportunities for enhanced cooperation in trade, investment, and other areas of mutual interest.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr Abdulla Khaleel, has departed on an official visit to Oman from December 10 to 13, at the invitation of Omani Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Albusaidi.
During the visit, the Minister Khaleel will engage in high-level discussions with Minister Albusaidi to review bilateral relations and explore opportunities for enhanced cooperation in trade, investment, and other areas of mutual interest.
Meetings with senior Omani government officials are also planned to further strengthen collaboration.
Maldives established bilateral relations with Oman in 1981.
Minister Khaleel is accompanied by Dr Hala Hameed, Secretary, Bilateral; Fathimath Naeema, Senior Under Secretary; and Mohamed Shujau, Assistant Director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
