The seaplane operations of the Maldives' national airline, Maldivian, have commenced in Baa atoll Fulhadhoo.
According to the company, the seaplane will operate scheduled flights to Fulhadhoo on Sundays and Thursdays every week.
The service will also provide an enjoyable flight experience to tourists visiting Goidhoo and Fehendhoo, which are located in the same lagoon as Fulhadhoo.
Starting seaplane service to the atoll, which has extensive local tourism, is a presidential pledge of President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu.
