Ayady Takaful, the Islamic insurance scheme of Allied Insurance, has launched a promotion offering a three Haram Tour Umrah (non-mandatory Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca, Saudi Arabia) package for clients that apply to Ayady Takaful.

Speaking at a press conference held at the Hajj Corporation on Wednesday, Allied’s marketing manager Niushad Shareef stated that the winner of the promotion will receive a three Haram Tour Umrah, which is sponsored by the Hajj Corporation.

In addition to Islam’s most sacred mosque of Al-Masjid al-Haram on a routine Umrah, three Haram Tour Umrahs include visits to Al-Masjid an-Nabawi and Al-Masjid al-Aqsa, the second and third holiest mosques in Islam respectively. The package also offers visits to important sites of Islamic history.

Meanwhile, pilgrims that embark upon Umrah and Hajj via the Hajj Corporation are offered the chance to apply for Ayady Takaful insurance.

Applicants for the Umrah Takaful are to pay MVR 750 to participate in the insurance scheme. The plan offers insurance up to MVR 10,000, including compensation for loss of luggage, passport, money, valuable items or for missing transportation.
