National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has appealed to the public to take precautionary measures following MET Office's forecast of stormy weather across the country in the coming five days.

With the Southwest Monsoon currently active over the region, the MET Office predicts strong winds of 15-25 miles per hour in the northern region, with the south expected to see winds of 13-23 miles per hour. Gusts of 45-55 miles per hour are expected as well over the next five days.
