Photos taken by the Italian Air Force show jets flying in formation over the islands of the Maldives.
The Italian Air Force, Aeronautica Militare, has released photos and videos of the Maldives airspace captured when its military jets landed at Velana International Airport (VIA) on Tuesday.
Four fighter jets and a cargo plane belonging to the Italian military that landed in Maldives have left on Friday afternoon.
"The white, beachy atolls and the crystal blue of the Indian Ocean have opened the wonderful doors of the Maldives Islands to us. This marks the second stage of the redeployment of the Italian contingent on its way to Australia to take part in the "Pitch Black 2024" air exercise, as part of the Air Force's Indo-Pacific air campaign," the Italian Air Force added to the photos.
