President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has today established the 'Dhivehi Gaumiyyathuge Isvaaru', a college dedicated to conducting research into Maldives' nationalism.
President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has today established the 'Dhivehi Gaumiyyathuge Isvaaru', a college dedicated to conducting research into Maldives' nationalism.
The college was inaugurated at the special ceremony held today at Dharubaaruge to mark National day.
"The establishment of the “Dhivehi Gaumiyyathuge Isvaaru" is a vital aspect of revitalising nationalism, as pledged by President Dr Mohamed Muizzu," the President's Office said.

The college will look into five main areas. Today, the President appointed officials to lead each area in the college. They are:
- Dhivehi Language: Mariyam Thaufeeqa, M. Dreamy Light
- Maldivian History: Ahmed Shakir, Ma. Kashimaa
- Maldivian Heritage: Hassan Zareer, Lonufen, Seenu Maradhoo
- Maldivian Data: Mohamed Abdul Gadhir, G. Goalhithereyge
- Maldivian Arts: Mariyam Easha Azeez, H. Haadhi
