Nationwide operation launched to combat storm damage

Due to forecasts of severe weather conditions in the Maldives in the coming days, police, Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF), and other relevant agencies have jointly launched an operation today to protect against potential damage from heavy rains.

Defense Minister Mohamed Ghassan Maumoon speaking with Mihaaru News said that this joint operation is being launched nationwide under the initiative of President Dr Mohamed Muizzu to minimize damage from heavy rainfall.
