Housing Development Corporation (HDC) contracts Batch Construction to develop premium villa properties in Hulhumale' Phase 2.
Signing for the development of the premium apartments, dubbed "Aseyria" was held on Monday, November 13. HDC Managing Director Ahmed Athif signed the agreement on behalf of the corporation while Batch Construction Managing Director Mohamed Saeed signed on behalf of the contractor.
The premium apartments will be developed at a plot spanning 300,000 square-feet, close to the currently in-development tourism island in Hulhumale' Phase 2 by HDC.
HDC reports this new project will be the first to introduce beach-front dwelling, garden dwelling and urban dwelling in the Maldives.
Each unit of the premium villas will measure 2,000 square-feet, with 1,200 square-feet living area.

Detailing the project, HDC confirms the premium villas will introduce luxury-tier living in Hulhumale' and will create over 100 different job opportunities. HDC however, did not reveal the exact project cost.
"Looking at the company's history, the longest Batch Construction took to complete one of its largest projects, was 20 months," HDC noted speaking about the contractor's achievements.
The project is expected to revolutionize the residential town of Hulhumale', according to HDC.
