Bank of Maldives (BML) has successfully concluded its National Tennis Championship for the year 2024, showcasing an array of local talent in the sport.
The tournament brought together 144 participants, who played a diverse range of matches, highlighting competitive spirit among all age groups, the bank said.
The winners were presented with their medals in a special ceremony held on Saturday.
This tournament was held in partnership with Tennis Association of Maldives (TAM) - a partnership, which according to BML, was made to support the development of young players and to recognize top talent in the sport.
BML has been playing an active role in the development of sport in the country. This includes sponsoring local athletes and sporting events, and organising tournaments such as this.
