Flights are scheduled to commence on November 8, marking the first time that the airline travels to Maldives.
The airline will conduct two flights per week to the Maldives, on Friday and Sunday. Return flights to Azerbaijan will be on Saturday and Monday.
The 6 hour flights will be conducted with Boeing 787 aircrafts. Return tickets between Maldives and Azerbaijan are priced at USD 633.
Azerbaijan Airlines currently conduct flights to many major cities across the globe, including Beijing, London, Barcelona, Paris and Milan.
At present, approximately 30 airlines operate to the Maldives.
