It has been reported that voting commenced late for most of the voting in Hithadhoo, Addu City. This was due to delay in delivering ballot boxes from city council to polling stations.

Local media reported that some difficulties were faced in reporting from the voting station.

According to the reports, media was told that they cannot be allowed to report from the voting room. Additionally, they were told that only one media personnel can enter the room at a time.

Police arrested three voters at the polling station in Feydhoo School, Addu Atoll, over taking photographs of their ballots.

Voter turn out not good for Addu City constituencies according to local media.

According to reports, although most of the voting began slightly late for most of the ballots for Addu City, Maradhoo happens to be one area that began voting on time.

Reports state that for ballot box 343 S.03.11 out of the 712 eligible candidates, only 198 voted.

For Thinadhoo North constituency ballot in Polytechnic in Male', out of 815 registered, 415 has voted.

Voter turn out going strong for Addu City ballots in Majeedhiyaa School.

From Addu City, a ballot in Maradhoo Feydhoo for Meedhoo constituency 365 S.07.2.2 is one of the boxes with the highest turnout. Out of 468, only 235 voted.

From Addu, the lowest voter turn out if from Maradhoo constituency, with only 791 voting while 1889 are registered.

An individual from Madaveli, Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll was summoned for questioning over photographing their ballot paper. Additionally, Police summoned two voters from Rathafadhoo, Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll, and one voter from Faresmaathodaa, Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll, who displayed their ballot papers after voting.
