People transporting cases of liquor in Hulhumalé have fled the scene have after being involved in an accident.
Two men on a motorbike carrying cases of liquor collided with a parked vehicle on a road in Hulhumalé on Thursday evening, in an attempt to escape when they spotted the police.
Police said the two men fled the scene leaving the items on the road.
The case is being investigated, the police said.
