Police have forwarded a case against two individuals accused of luring a man to a guesthouse and robbing him to the Prosecutor General's Office to press charges.
Police said today that on July 19, a Maldivian man was taken to Yellow Light Stay guesthouse, where he was held at knifepoint, stripped and robbed. The perpetrators stole the cash in his wallet, and forced him to transfer the funds in his bank account. Police have concluded the investigation into this case and forwarded it to the PG Office.
The two accused in the case are Ahmed Mihad, 44, of G. Allparis, and Rimana Moosa, 39, of G. Ranauraage-Aage.
