Minister Zameer and a delegation from Maldives are in Bahrain on an official visit at the invitation of the Bahraini Foreign Minister.
As part of his official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Foreign Minister of Maldives Moosa Zameer has met with the country's Crown Prince and Prime Minister Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
In a post by the minister on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) he announced his meeting with the Crown Prince. He also revealed that he presented a letter from President Dr Mohamed Muizzu to Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who is also the Deputy Supreme Commander of the country as well.

During the meeting, Minister Zameer also conveyed the firm commitment by the Maldives government to further strengthen the existing bonds of friendship between both countries.
The minister's visit to Bahrain is on the invitation of his counterpart Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani. During the visit, which is from 11th to 15th August, he is also scheduled to meet with other senior officials from the Government of Bahrain, including the Minister of Finance and National Economy, the Minister of Oil and Environment and the Minister of Tourism, to explore opportunities to enhance collaboration in various sectors between the two countries.
Minister Zameer is accompanied by Ambassador-at-Large, Ahmed Naseer, Secretary, Bilateral, Dr Hala Hameed, Joint Secretary, Mariyam Reesha and Assistant Director, Mizna Waheed on the trip.
