A tourist was found dead in a room in the five-star Shangri-La Resort operated in Villingili island in Addu atoll late Friday.
According to Police spokesperson, they received the report around 7:15 p.m. Friday. Police are currently investigating the case.
The tourist is a 30 year old female who was visiting the Maldives with her husband. Additional details have not been disclosed yet.
