BML has presented awards to appreciate their employees at their annual awarding ceremony

BML has held an award show to appreciate their employees and their services. This awarding ceremony is held annually and present awards such as Employee of the Year, Customer Service Star and CEO Award for Outstanding Achievement.

Bank of Maldives has presented awards to their best performing employees of 2023 during the annual awarding ceremony held to value and appreciate the employees working at the company.

During the ceremony held Friday night at Crossroads Maldives, the most esteemed award of the event, Employee of the Year was obtained by the Customer Service Manager of the company, Mohamed Shaaiq Ahmed. Head of Business and SME Banking, Ali Farish Khaleel had also secured the Best Leaders Award during this ceremony while the Best Manager award was bestowed to Azan Rasheed from the company's Terminal Management Unit.

Within the awards presented in order to value the teams of the company, Naifaru BML Branch had acquired the CEO Award for Outstanding Achievement as well. Awards from numerous categories such as Best Atoll Branch, Best Atoll Employee, Best Team, Customer Service Star and Award for Innovation were also further presented to employees during the awarding ceremony.

CEO of Bank of Maldives and Managing Director, Karl Stumke had acknowledged the employees for their services in fulfilling the duties of their positions and expressed his gratitude for the staff. Moreover, he had also declared that the secret of the bank's success are its employees.

"The bank had made a record result during the past year. This marks the first time the bank had received an amount higher than MVR 2 billion as sheer profit. This is the result of the employees' hard work. I thank all individual employees during this opportunity." said Stumke.

BML has been hosting an awarding ceremony each year to show appreciation for their employees and value their services. The bank has a Maldivian employee rate of 99 percent, of which one third is comprised of employees in various islands.
